Little Pine FN Design+Build Workshop

The Little Pine First Nation workshop, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT), facilitated a three-week Design+Build experience for students. The program began with an introduction to the design process, where students explored storytelling tools such as collage-making, 3D printing, drones, and VR/AR technology. In the final week, the focus shifted to building a bench for the Chief Band Office using freshly sourced materials from the school site. One student proposed engraving their names and a feather drawing onto the bench as a meaningful way to celebrate the effort and give sense of belonging to the project.
